FIVB-Sanctioned Grand Slam Beach Volley Tournament

If you haven’t heard yet, a new exciting event is coming to Downtown Long Beach this summer. For the first time in over a decade in the United States, Downtown Long Beach will be hosting the first FIVB-Sanctioned Grand Slam Beach Volley Tournament. The tournament is on July 22-28, and the organization is looking for Long Beach’s finest to help volunteer. This is a great opportunity for the community to get involved.

Here is the volunteer sign-up information, and the organization is hoping to get around 100 volunteers for each of the three days… let’s see if we can put a dent in that number. There are different ways to help volunteer, and the sign-up sheet explains each one.

For more information visit the volunteer website

Please help spread the word! Let anyone and EVERYONE know about this opportunity. Any person, from anywhere can volunteer, so if you have friends outside of Long Beach that want to participate, have them sign up as well.

This is very exciting for the city of Long Beach as a whole, so let’s make sure we do our part to ensure the success of this event.
